Call Out for Anti-2010 Olympics Solidarity ! Oct 29th-31st 2009

This is a call out for direct action and solidarity. At the end of October, the Olympic Torch will come from Greece to Canada. As we’ve seen here in BC, the true project of the Olympics is the enhancement capitalism, colonization and social control. New surveillance infrastructure and the training of police and security forces in counter-insurgency here will be exported around the world. The Olympics effects us all, the world over. Direct action, disruptions or confrontations generally and against the torch relay can be part of a strategy to discourage economic development, exploitation and destruction of people and the land in "British Columbia.” Between October 29-30th, (and beyond) we welcome acts of solidarity in the form of whatever makes the most sense for your context. From everywhere in the world let these acts strengthen our common rebellion !

Information about the Torch Relay :

A convergence is scheduled in Victoria, British Columbia to counter the launch of the cross-Canada torch relay. The 2010 Olympic Flame will be lit in Greece on Oct. 22, 2009 and handed over to a representative of Canada, in Athens on Oct. 29 before coming to Canada - (if it makes it that far !).
The torch relay of modern times which transports the flame from Greece to the various designated sites of the games had no ancient precedent. The torch was introduced at the Hitler’s 1936 Berlin Olympics to spread the spirit of fascism throughout Europe. Still, the torch is a symbol to spread the ideologies of nationalism, colonization and economic progress. The cross Canada Olympic torch relay begins in Victoria BC, Coast Salish Territory, the morning of October 30. It will spend five days on Vancouver Island before flying to the Yukon, crossing the Northern region of the country to the Atlantic coast, then proceed westward across all provinces, to arrive in Vancouver for the opening ceremonies on Feb. 12, 2010. The relay will last 106 days and cover 45,000 km. It will pass through 1,000 communities.

Berlin, the 14 of October 2009 - Police station attacked

And Alexandra R. in general preventive kidnapping, you want to make an example with the prisoners of the first of May, you organised a farce process against alleged members of the MG, therefore we visited you. In solidarity with all the ones who are on our side of the barricade and take action against your social terror-control ansd your anti-insurrection combating. A special greeting goes to Alfredo Bonanno and Christos Stratigopoulos, kept in pre-trial detention in Greece.

( From the press: Unkn own persons attacked a police station in Lichtenberg and created high damages. Nobody got injured. Clearly the perpretrators acted in solidarity with people who are in prison accused of arsons on cars. State security investigates.

Around 12.30 the group showed up in front of the police station and smashed several windows with stones, afterwards they lighted smokebombs, their smoke reached the inner part of the building through the damaged windows. Also they left some calpthrops on the streets which damaged the police cars who wanted to search for the authors, who instead could flee away. The police first arrested three persons in the area but had to release them quite fast. Civil cops found a bag in the near of the action containing flyers who had a connection to the ongoing arsons on cars.

Suplemento: Berlin- Germany- Burning barricades on the streets in solidarity with prisioners

On the early morning of 28th of september 8 hooded persons blocked a street in berlin in solidarity with the trial of "Alex, Christoph" and the "1st of mai prisoners". Garbage bins, fences and stuff from construction sites were put on the street as barricades. They were set on fire. The fire increased and also a car was catching fire. In the action flyers were handed out and a transparent opened with a slogan for Alex, Christoph and the 1st of may prisoners. Shortly after a big amount of police arrived. Nobody was arrested.

Further in solidarity with Marco Camenisch a luxury-car was burned in Schlieren(Zuerich) in the night from 29th - 30th of september."Our flames are dedicated to Marco Camenisch and all the revolutionary prisoners. As well in the night of 15-16th of september a luxury car was burned, also in solidarity with Marco Camenisch. "We call out to every revolutionary to burn down a car each day that Marco is not released. We cannot stop fighting for his freedom and of course the freedom of every other revolutionary, political and social prisoner worldwide."

Struggle against the deportationmachine:
In the night of wednesday 09.09.2009 several windows of the office of the red cross were smashed. The attackes left the slogan, "AGAINST THE DEPORTATIONMACHINE AND THEIR AGENTS!" written on the pavement.


(The red cross participates in the administration of the deportation centres for migrants of different countries(like in the CIEs in Italy or the CETI at Melilla). Using the terminology of humanist Ideology, they are responsible for the abuse of Immigrants in switzerland, as well as of other countries. If it is for the repression of revolts of centres (like the last wave of insurrections and closed centers in Italy, when the hungerstrikes were refused water) as well as at escorting of police operations(like on 26th of may in france, when the police evicted and set on fire a camp of gypsies) or like in warzones, the red cross always acts on the side of the bosses. - from the communique)

Ghent: Five cars of the post were burned in the night of 20.09-21.09 2009. The lorries were destroyed completely, a 6th vehicle was also damaged while the building of the post itself suffered quite some damage as well. Klagenfurt-Corinthia-Austria 19.09.09: Party Office of FPOe vadalized

In the night of 18-19 of september the windows of the party office of the right wing FPOE-Austria in the heart of the austrian fascists -Klagenfurt/Corinthia were smashed and paint was thrown inside. The action was launched while the international meeting of fascists commeorating the fallen soldiers of WW2 was officially not going on. Many of the usual commemorators met anyway inofficially and made a walk to an important statue of WW2. In the course of the days 150 antifas marched through downtown Klagenfurt.
